SAPS ( Standard Assessment Procedure)

Picture
The Standard Assessment Procedure is a tool used to calculate energy use and carbon dioxide emissions in residential buildings .

New Build:  It is a requirement for all new build, and results in the issuing of an EPC, as illustrated right.

Existing Buildings: Although, the methodology does have its flaws , it is the widest used tool for comparing energy and carbon performance of our residential buildings, and is therefore an important tool for analysing older buildings as well as new .

Reduced (RD) SAPs are, as the name suggests, a much simplified version of SAPs. They are used to produce the EPCs that  are required at change of ownership  or tenancy of residential property .

We can help with all these.
